So I took an early escape from school and jumped onto my bike right after I reached home.I'm feeling much better after about more then halve and year of not cycling as advised by the doc. The knee injury seemed to have gone away completely. Yay!~
Well, prior to the evening's session I called wee hou , one of the junior members of sp cyclists to join me on my little road trip. Wee hou is , lets say is a very critical kid and he had plenty of comments on the current management for Sp cyclists. After hearing all of his complains , made up of mostly explicit contents , I reflected on the whole point and purpose of the existence of the club.
I remembered when i was in Year 1 , I joined Sp cyclist with the thought of using the opportunity as a stepping stone to form and be part of a professional race team. Truth is , what i was told then, when i was at the booth , wasn't what I expected to get at this point of time.
I'm not disappointed , however , maybe because I realised that the whole idea i was harbouring then was pointless to start with. Then the benevolent or maybe some would say, nosey side of me would kick in and I question myself, what would the other members who are deprived of what they wanted feel?
Its not like every one has the same perception as I do and not every one would be so 'happy go lucky' like me.(well, you guys jolly well know why i quoted that phrase) There would be more people like Wee hou now whom is dissatisfied with the out come of being a member of a club, and feeling a sense of deceit. Wouldn't that make the whole 'the club is good for you' talk at the cca booth a scam?
Seriously, now i feel disgusted at my own club .Perhaps even at my self, for marketing the club so intensively that it involved misleading people's perception of the club. Well, I believe the club members who are reading this would know who I'm referring to particularly. Yes, to the particular person who holds the responsibility and power now, note, responsibility comes first before power. I hope you reflect on yourself and your lack of actions to lead .
