Monday blues part 56134624
I kinda feel for those people in the working class having to wake up to the start of a week of bombardment from work. Its what i experience today, with a terrible head ache to make things worst.
Now children, its the festive season now and i know there'll be plenty of good food and these good food can be quite bad for ur health some times. So do take care of urself and try not to finish a bottle of hei be hiam at one go . Else the consequence will be varified often quite drastic.
Well, things got better as the day past by as I sweat quite alot and all. WOots, or maybe its like what ern said, the secret remedy . XD I'ld love to have that remedy everyday even though i'm not sick.
How ever, some one was being really sweet and all and got me water and medicine(fatal ones) when i was sick and all. Felt blessed and i wish i could just sing ," don't cha wish ur girl friend was hot like mine~?!" .... DOn't chA!?

Ernest belated birthday celebration.
So the fag had his brthday celebration again. This time things took a bigger scale as we had buffet at the market place at swiss hotel. It was originally supposed to be held at yuki yaki marina but i think they were turned off by the time limit.. thus they choose market place instead.
Any wat, the place we ate at had excellent service and all, louis was commenting on how those oval trays and high ball remind us of days back in raffle town club where we work as part-time waiters. It does bring nostalgia to me when i saw one of the waiter sneak a sip on a glass of coke.
Food was excellent and they had this big sea bass where every one feast on a portion of its meat, how ever by them time me and louis got back the fish was pathetically "fleshless". Woots, the fish how ever was nothing compared to the slices of abalone they serve to us and the shrimps and cray fish, which come in abundance. With so much of luxury items around, the term" spoilt for choices" would do justice in describing how we felt .
I decided to take a little of every thing , thus explaining the "rojak" plate.
I went to restaurants like cartel and fish n co and i love the soup they provide us. While Cartel and fish n co has creme of chicken or vegetable soup for their soup of the day, the market place had SHARKS FIN SOUP WITH CRAB MEAT! for their soup of the day. There is also bits and pieces of abalone in the soup. How cool is that. Its free flow too!
I decided to get alittle more creative and added bak kua into my soup. =D I had chocolate fondued prawn later too.
hei hei hei.
Of course ladies and gentlemen , the kitchen never fails to subdue that sweet tooth of yours with their own corner of desserts. From traditional chinese tang yuan stuffed with sesame paste to classic english brownies and supreme cheese cake . Top with ice cream and loads of chocolates. Then there is this 2 meters chocolate fondue machine flowing with i guess calbury chocolate or was it van houten?
Chinese dessert array.
My rojak dessert plate
sweet tapioca topped with vanilla condense milk.I like this one the most.
I didnt really go around taking pictures of what they offer us , else i'ld look like some rtard you gotto see it for urself. Woots, eating at that place isn't really easing on the wallet though , i'ld say you pay for what you eat, when the much dreaded bill came whines and groans were heard.
Argh the numbers.
Well, faggot , i hope you appreciate dinner and that poser head phone i get for you eh. ARGH >_<> IssHhshh WWiissHHhesss EeeeueeXxxx a HhhApppiEeeXxx bBBbbIIRrrttTtthh dayYyyyxxx WWwwooRrrxxxXxx, TttaaaaKkkkkeEee CCaairrEexxxx , Mmmuaacckkkksszzzxxx . Damn tiring typing twit.

Office skirmish tatics
Working in a not very small company with 4 bosses over my head wasn't one of the most desired out come from my two months of internship period. Though i'm much better off then some of the people out there, today and yesterday saw me going through a chain of events that brought me to harsh reality of work life. Its not fictional or any sort of day dream at all, its all real.
My bosses are mike , liu ,wendy and pik teng. I'm directly under pik teng but since pik teng was on leave mike had to take over. Liu was the general manager of the whole company so i fall under him to. Where as wendy is seldom seen.
I was given work by pik teng, and she brief us on what to do. See , though i knew her for only like 1 week, i think that pik teng would take a more simplified approach when it comes to work, its like a double edge sword. It'ld kill you and help you. So pik teng brief us "BRIEFLY" on what we are supposed to do and gave us , i could say, quite a simple and brief format to follow. I followed what she did and spent my past week and the whole of yesterday to write up procedures of up to 50 pages . It was simplified how ever it was still quite a chore.
Mike suddenly pop up and said he wanted to review the work with me. In my context, reviewing the work WITH me would be to look through and tell me my mistakes and all. I was wrong, totally. Mike sat next to me and said in a serious tone, tell me what pik teng tell you to do . I said the procedures and stuffs which i thought he'ld know, he looked at me and said. "I've not finish speaking.. tell me what pik teng told you to do as if i don't know anything about testing." I was caught aback. I was in a quick sand and i was sinking fast. I wasn't prepared for somethign like that and i stammered and start speaking quickly. Mike looked at me blankly and said" JC , do you know what you did just now will be reflected in ur grades?" I was flabbagasted. Mei jun , one of my colleauge also stared at dis belief and said." but Mike , what pik teng gave us was just that .. whats more JC only started on it yesterday" . Mike said" well, i'm in charge now since pik teng is not around so this is what i say."
Jeeze, and i was chatting so happily with him over lunch about bicycles .
Its not like i totally dislike Mike's character though. In fact , I like his drive. He takes his work seriously and is very precise about his assessments. AFter he pointed out my mistakes on my procedures , i found myself ashamed of myself . How could i ever think of showing that to the client! What the hell was i thinking. For that , i'm pissed with myself and i had a bad day for that. Not with Mike. Oh , i'll talk about Liu soon, but now, respects to Mike.
Well , so much for having a tough day at work I knocked off and went to meet some Soon tec girl who shoved me aside while i want to pay for my cap and paid for me instead. Ay, that sorta brighten the rest of the day up. sorta.

Happier Chinese New year !
WOots , its the first day of chinese new year! So exciting!
I've done quite some stuffs during the past week . I started my work at Aspec for my attachment, and on the first day of work , I love it already. The fact that I get to sign a private and confidential statement turns me on. I'm doing top secret stuffS, how cool is that . Shhwing!
My boss is so good to me that he even gave me roses for valentines day. Double Shwing .He's a GreAtY boss sial.
Chinese new year is cool. I love it when it brings back relatives i get to see for only like once a year. The kinda food that comes about once a year too is also sweet. Then the activities like the bai nian thing, the mandarin orange thing.. and most importantly the ang bao thing. Woots, i can't get enough of those. I told my mum i don't wanna get married as i wanna collect ang bao , she freaked.
Any what , heres wishing you guys with better properity , fortune , romance studies and health in the year of the boar. (hope i'm not pseudo typing)~

Fishing at the kelong
So way back Patrick took up a liking for fishing. Hes been asking me out to fish , i couldn't help but oblige. Last Saturday , we took fishing for us to a newer level as we hit my uncle's kelong located at the north eastern part of Singapore.
We managed to rendezvous a sizable group of 8 anglers from our contacts. They were Me , Patrick, jun yuan , soon ning, jia wei , Edison or sth, Benjamin and soon ning's friend. After some shopping at the tackle shop at changi village we embark on our boat ride to the kelong . We reached late after noon and as soon as i finished setting up my rig i toss it into the water to test it , and woots, i got a fish just by doing that.
Less then 15 minutes i claimed first blood.
I saw Patrick's lighted up face, there are plenty of fishes around there alright. Disappointed though the catch was a small one and its a cat fish.
It wasn't long before its night fall and the fishes we started catching seemed to be of different species. Other then the usual cat fishes , I caught a sting ray and an eel and some small tarpoon.
Not the most appetizing sight to behold
Around 9 we had monsters hitting the deck as jia wei broke his rod when a big fish struck and Benjamin burst his line . Jun yuan concluded that it might be barracudas on the lurk and our setup then was not ready for those bastards. How ever , the action still went on as Benjamin went on to land his two bat fishes with the help of jun yuan.
<
Voila , the bat fish , protector of Gotham fish city.
Jia wei was demoralized by the sight of his broken rod . How ever , after hooking up a rock fish with a hand line helped brighten his day up. His friend , Edison also landed a rock fish , ay, i heard from the kelong staffs that if prepared well its a delicacy and that its sought after by some restaurants.
Its a tad bit too small for table size though , release later on.
The night went on as we caught plenty of other fishes mostly gear fish and cat fish . It was mentally challenging as we grimace through the night deprived of sleep. Some of us couldn't take it and had to hit the sack . How ever , Soon ning, our photographer for the trip, did not give in to the sleep demon and landed himself a nice table sized mangrove jack.
The fish had its picture took later on during day time , which explains the day light.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the kelong would be the calming atmosphere it possess. The constant gentle slaps of the waves creates such an ambience it'd wash away all those stress from the busy urban life. The scenery was truly a sight to behold from the night sky to dawn. Who could ever expect to see such magnificence in Singapore.
The sun rays came seeping in and soon we were hit by the scorching golden light. My rod went for a deep dive suddenly and i wanked it hard. Fish on~ I begin reeling in and was surprised at whats the end of the line. A dog shark~
My first shark, not as big as i expected it to be though
The shark was released later as its not really edible and its quite a rare specimen . Later on the kelong staffs started feeding the fishes . There were so many fishes in the nets that i think if we were to fish all of them using the rod , we'd drop dead by exhaustion even before we finish fishing them . The food remnants escape through the netting and that attracted fishes to the net and that brought about a new feeding frenzy as surface action was seen every where , we quickly changed our rigs and started to fish for what ever caused the surface action. It appeared to be Half beaks, name kudos to Patrick's research, which were having the feeding frenzy. We caught some of those fishes , which puts up a good fight and can be whipped up to quite a good dish.
How about a game of darts?
We stopped fishing at around 9 and waited for the boat to come fetch us back to the main island. During then we took photos of our concluded catch.
Here's the basket load of fishes.
The boatmen finally arrived at 1130 am. We left the kelong as i watched the kelong becoming smaller in the horizon i got hit by the reality that internship is starting the next day . I'd wish to visit the place again soon , but the possibility of that happening would be so small. How ever , I'm so glad i came and woots, its definitely an experience I'd won't forget in due time. I think.

Cranked out , burned out , stress out, fuck up, I joined the guys for steam boat at bugis. Well, putting the stress from the exams aside , i've now got 4 days to play, before Itp starts. Jeeze, I pray to God to slow time down during these 4 days please. Let ITP seem so far away.. please..
We had this Ma la steam boat. Ma la = very spicy. Its really so damn spicy that i thought i'ld die if i drink the soup from the steam boat.
Potent poison
Ay.. I'ma go enjoy every minute of my 4 days to the fullest now!
The pills won't work.
