Woots, here i am spending my last hour of 2006 this year blogging. Hmm. This year is indeed different. with the fact that i'm actually blogging at home now. At home.

ay, was fickle minded for the week end.. thus . ay.

New Year resolutions

No , i'm not giving my new year resolution for the year ahead today.I haven't even thought about it.. what are your goals next year? OR rather , what are your goals this year? Did you achieve it ..

I was looking at my archives to kill time when i came across one earlier this year, stating my new year resolution.

My new year resolution..serious one.. really protect what i have now.. coach a team of young aspiring cyclists... race for team sp with a few other comarades.. try to join the 4 seasonal races... try my luck out at the malaysian racing scene... get better grades for my studies...oh yea.. and stop pissing off every fine lady i meet.. perharps i'll settle down with one this year? ay this is a long term target..

Then i was wondering , did i did all of those ? No . I couldn't coach a team of young aspiring cyclists coz there aren''t any young aspiring cyclists . I raced for Sp alone becoz i don't have comrades. I didnt join the 4 seasonal races because i didnt have time to train. I couldn't try my luck out at the malaysian racing scene becoz i didn't wanted to race for team youth singapore(thats another story).. I couldn't protect what i have then becoz i've forgotten what i had then.I did managed to get better grades though. OH yea .. the last one.. i'm not so sure about that..

That left me to think, whether we should really have new year resolutions at all. It seemed rather pointless to have them , meaninglessly useless i'ld say. Its something that i had to be reminded off, and the only way i'm gonna get reminded is when i have the time to start reading up my archives and come across them. Gao Gao Muah Chee

Tang Yuan ( very yuan)

Mum made loads of glutinous rice balls today for break fast. Apparently, there is some Chinese festival going on thus , the traditional dish. There were some left over glutinous rice dough and mum haven't got time to cooked those. So i thought of an ingenious idea out of it.

I made a dessert out of the remnants which i named it the above.The idea originated from muah chee.If you guys had been to the pasar malam(night market for those who still don't know what it is) you can see vendors selling this dish for say,$3 bucks per packet? Price jacked up. I still remember during my secondary school days, the bunch of us guys were selling those during some bazaar at school. We were there singing songs and getting customers to buy from us. They still nick named us muah chee boys, how cool is that.

Gao Gao muah chee is simple to make , just follow the steps below =D

First lets touch on the ingredients we're gonna use.

Ground peanuts (note , only use roasted peanuts to grind please.. )
White sugar
Brown sugar (proportion of sugar is up to self preferences)
Glutinous rice dough( for those who don't know how to make those, you can get it at the market ready made ,else ask me )
Chemical X( this is the thing that will make my muah chee taste different from yours XD)

OK , now we've got the ingredients we're ready to start. First boil enough water to cover up all your glutinous rice dough. Then roll up your glutinous rice dough into small balls and dump them into the boiling water. Cook till the dough floats or for 15 minutes.

Here is the trick to make the balls taste better , prepare a bowl of ice water and dump the cooked balls into the bowl. Don't ask me why , i don't know too.. i compared it with those not dump in the ice water and they just taste different.

Then dump the balls back into boiling water again just to scald them then place them into a bowl. In the bowl add some vegetable oil ( in this case i used olive oil , the healthier choice) .This is to prevent the cooked balls from sticking onto each other .

Fill a bowl with the grounded peanuts and sugars .

Remember to mix the peanut powder thoroughly

Mix well and dump the balls in. This is the tricky part. You got to roll the balls to get them coated with the peanut mixture without tearing them and have them coated thoroughly .

Once you've done that , your Gao Gao Muah Chee is done. Bon appetite. I let ah ma taste it and she went Gao gao ( good good in hokkien) thus, the name of the dish.

So i was a away from home for the past couple of days.Went to this Tri-ex camp which have been carried out by the members of Sp Adventurers, Sp Yatch Club , and Us.. Sp cyclists. I'm not involved much in the organisation of anything , hur but they still gave the presidents of each club a post though , Advisors. Quite a corny name ,but i can stick with that ; cause i'm complaining all the time.

Every club tooked a bunch of particpants out to have a feel of what we do in our cca. We tooked them for a mini road expedition and sum every thing up with a dual slalom trial race at this neat trail N-park came out with.

The bunch of us , the cyclists, is always doing things different from other people. I dont know why. For example when we decided to do crabbing at the jetty (with the permission from daryl , Sp yatch club president). We cycled out to source for traps and bait , and woots, we were ingenious and got ourself laundry bags, screws and nuts and strings and fish bones, which were transformed into crad-deadly crab traps. The effectiveness of the D.I.Y crab trap was beyond expectations.

We caught 16 crabs at the end of the session which woots, were all release except for the biggest one, when some one decided to try the pincers out and was admitted to the toilet, several times after which. Quite dumb i think , to think i see floating debris every where in the waters there. Damn i missed redang.

2nd day was relaxing for me and the cyclists as we tooked the sails and kayak out to the sea. Woots, learnt loads of stuffs about sailing after which, and got my self all battered from fibre glass cuts from the kayak. Something different from the two wheel sport we do.

Ay, then the day was sum up with me heading home first. Tsk , theres alot of errs and things to pin point on , which i belive had the other two advisors seeing red too.. but oh well, its over and things that has to be said is said.I hope things will get better.

OK i'm going quite broke already. Not something good. Damn , too much impulse and i was being too rash on things. Need to slow down.

Bought a cpu , duo core processor... amd something, some very good parts which i forgotten what are they for.. but its all good. New cpu , now.. i just need to get every thing installed =D .. Thanks Miss guo for acc round and round the 5th level of the building and the sweet... ;)

Watched eragon with the guys just now on the guys night out. So nice, there were already cefiros(sephiroth actually) back then during rome. Nissan's history is longer then we've known.Its a nice show though, the classic knight in armour saving the day kinda show, of course it must have a sequel, just in case the audience think that its a nice show and then it top the charts on the box office, the producers can produce a part 2 of the show, just to make more money. I know them too well.. tsk tsk tsk.

Finally, sem break..ima rest my ass ... and its work work and more work again. Tsk.

Well, alot of upgrades and improvements coming along the way for me. For starters.. new cpu.. yes.. finally.. I'll not risk getting killed by the old one. Then there is alot more.

Bought myself a pair of nikes . Woots, i think its my first time buying nike shoes, didn't really share the passion for that tick, but i guess this pair works out just fine .

Ay and i was late . damn it.Damn guilty sia.. but it all worked out well. Melban sea food is nice.. woots , i recc you guys go try it. There are crabs weighing 5 kgs there. Imagine the size, unholy. People at ang mo kio area shoulda heard of the restaurant. Yummilicious on the taste buds , painfully taxing on the wallet. Trust me.

Well , nth much to blog about these couple days. No new concepts or idea coming out but hmm, whats your perception of a fling?

Christmas is coming , jingle bells and coniferous trees can be seen every where. Green and red is the fashion statement now and artificial snow is every where. I think this year's Christmas will be different from last year.. Tsk , with so many changes going on, theres no reason why it should be the same.

So recently i'm filled with so much hatred , something like a bottle of soda water that has been taken on a roller coaster ride. It might pop any second.

I don't know why , i'm so pissed all of the sudden , i'm just fukking angry with everything. I guessed i listen to too much angry music at the start of every morning. Maybe sometimes some people will be filled with anonymous hatred too, Hatred you have no idea where its origin is.

People like this tend to stare alot. Walk along the side walk stare at the front , locking eyes with who ever comes near , wishing that person were dead. Not just die like that , but die with something more mortifying. Perharps having his innards combusting into flames before having his exterior charred with hell fire.

Hate.

People like this tend to avoid unnecessary attention though. For example when he sees a friend or some one he knows on the same train , he'll most prolly just say hi and say that he is meeting his friend in the next cabin while he walks to the next cabin just to be alone. They want to be left alone .

How ever , sometimes when this hatred overwhelmes you , you tend to find contradictions in yourself . Its like a realistic personality in you fighting with this virtual one. Then you end up hating more . Some times , it blinds you. Like when you're copying notes for FMA in Meenakshisundaram Krishnaswamy class. You tend to start copying wrong points , weird rite? You find that after the end of the lessons you've got new terms such as , unforgivable assets , or dead debts.

Don't worry though , these are all normal symptoms of every day life. Coz if there is no hate , there'll be no love . So with hate comes love , with love comes hate, it all balances out.. trust me. =D

So today i went for the appreciation dinner and there was this bunch of old people surrounding me while having dinner. There was some 1970s band on the stage and they were singing songs like.. sway.. chan mali chan.. yue liang dai biao wo de xin.. bla bla bla old songs. I thought they sucked so i tooked the mike and the guitar and hit on the distortion pedal and got anotehr guitarist joining me and we performed diary of jane by breaking benjamin. After we finish the number the faces we saw is like this

Ok la, other then the first two sentences i wrote, the rest is bull shit.

The night was nice , the band is awesome.. i mean it.. the vocals are damn good , especially on the altos .In fact , they played their pieces well that people started dancing. There is this ah pek and aunty who went cha cha after their 3rd or 4th glass of wine.

Turn out on the table was less then expected. Tsk tsk, despite the tantalizing menus with , abalone, sharks fin and some very expensive dessert. Oh well, that only meant i got a bigger portion of the food XD.

One thing about community club functions.. they always have lucky draws after the event. Its always liddat to make the audience sit their ass through out the 9 course. I wanted to leave early but boon tiong offered a ride home so i stayed put till hes done with his lucky draw. Guess what , my number was called . 170.

I almost not want to go up to collect the prize because i had to have my face appearing on 6 big screens surrounding the hall but .. zzz.. wei sheng didn't want to claim the price on my behalf so i had to go up. Well, it was not so bad after all. I managed to check my hairdo, which was pretty cool,on the big screens ..=x

Ay , and i got the transport claims ... woots, more then i expected. Suddenly i see possibilities in my life again. wakakkakaka.

A broken string

So i broke the e string today.-_- The bloody thing flew and almost killed me. ANd i was so on to this new song.. damn it.

Commuting via mrt any one? So i go to school via the mrt every day . Every day i see the same kinds of people. Standing or sitting , You just observe them and you can see what kinda attitude they have. Especially during rush hour, where either commuters are rushing to go to work or school in the morning vice versa at night. You'll be able to see the disgusting nature of man kind~; then you'ld get to appreciate other means of transport.

So this evening i was going home with a heavy load on my shoulders, the lap top. Then i board the mrt and found myself a place to seat. Then, mr big buttocks came in and sat beside me. I didn't call him big buttocks because he has some physical disorder , rather, i think its something pyschological. He kept shifting his butt left and right , seemingly to find more space to land his ass . I was pissed by his actions. I couldn't find any seats around me so i decided to tolerate with it. Now to tolerate doesn't mean to accept, quoted from the Great gay and philosophic teacher Mr garrisson from south park. I am annoyed , but i decided to bear with the irritant and continue to sit down.

How ever , he is seriously not taken into by the body signs and hints by me and the other person beside him and continues his ass moves. I almost decided to not tolerate any more and give up the seat until miss tantalizing pretty sat beside me after the person be side me alighted . The sweet perfume and her soft hair was sprawled all over. It wasn't on intention but she also had her ass against me.

This , is something i can tolerate. =x

Terrorism.. its real

Finally, i got rid of the god damn gay song on my blog.. its supposed to enhance the atmosphere when u read that 4 chapter story. =X

So i ponned the whole day of school today coz i dont' wanna limp myself around. AY, wec and econs lecture..lak sio lak sio.. i'll just copy the notes from some one later on.=x

I was walking down the usual path to get my lunch when i heard explosions. I turned towards to the direction where the sounds came from and was caught back, by an inferno . The third story of a multi storey car park caught fire and there were explosions echoing the neighbourhood simultaneously . Thus ,I dialled 999 for the correct reasons for the second time in my life today . I stood there for awhile and watch the fire burn as the walls of the 4th storey turned black by the thick fumes . Well, it got bored after staring at the flames awhile , and i notice that there was around 4 meters away from the carpark.

I was worried for the people staying in there as i saw this old lady sticking her head out, oblivious of what was going on. Then i saw this uncle, run up stairs to the scene of the fire, with a pail, i think he decided that he could put out the flames with that bucket ... I think other wise. I wanted to tell him to keep away till the firemen come but ay , he ran so fast.. ok maybe i walked-_-.

Any wat, the fire didn't looked life threatening so i walked away and got my lunch. The fire engines came after i got my lunch . Quite fast i thought . How ever, the fire seemed to have subsided by the time they came. I think.

Oh well, that concludes another one of those exciting days.

So , i went to the exhibition with ernest at the expo.WEll, the purpose was to visit the It fair but we winded up at the big boys toys exhibition as well.. This is my first time at the annual exhibition and i thought it'ld be something great , but hmm, its just an exhibition on automotives and some bling bling stuffs. I don't know why the hell would togoparts be there . Then there was the not so bling Polygon bikes on display there. I think if santa cruz were to be very mean and come down to expo for their exhibiton, they'll make the polygon bikes look like children's bike instead of BIG BOYS'.

Yvonne(kk tribe one , not the other 2) came over to sakae for lunch and dinner. Hard core girl. Eat with bf during lunch after that come back at night to eat with mum. Ay , too bad i'm not the person billing for her.

Life's gonna be bitch soon. Project and report dead lines coming up.so tell me, would u like working alone , or in a group?
