Saturday morning i woke up at 630 am.

Sore throat. Called muthusamy. One of my favourite cycling kakis.

"eh muthu, i want go cycling on or not?"

Suprised that the fact muthu is not sleeping in fact , anticipating my call.

" steady . I meet u 8 at adam's market.."

"go tampiness.. i wanna go try out the new race course."

Then i morph into a sloth , dragging my ass around the house packing my hydra pak and brushing my teeth at the same time. Stoned while i recall where i put my other piece of sock.

Refreshed i woke up wifey and gave her a good spray of wd 40 before i push her outside. Ay, shes been complaining recently that the grime had been building up in her sprocket, time to de grease soon. Tsk.

Was almost knocked down by a Bmw , yet again . The second time for this month already and its only the start of the month , I'm feeling lucky. I don't understand whats wrong with ppl driving big cars, its like, you know you can't control such a big car, why bother getting such a big car.Get some other 6 seaters which is so much easy to manuever round the streets please , for ur own sake and for the sake of other traffic users. Right , maybe i'm just against stupid drivers. Period.

"eh first time , we both come together on time. Every time its either you late 30 mins or i late 1 hour one. Surprising."

"yea lo, break fast already ? makan prata at coffee shop you want?"

" Nah, i had cookie crisps before coming out. You need makan go ah.."

"Nvm la deh , i had light break fast too.scared later too full won't be able to cycle."

" eh muthu , don't you think we're moving at a rather fast pace today.. Woots , whats the time ?"

"815 bro.. Yes , our average speed is 40km/h. Whats up with you today ar?"

" OMFG , 15 mins for us to reach gaylang... damn we're fast...XD .. Later come back here find for the frog porridge and bean curd . I heard its nice. "

called ruben" Eh ruben , where are you? I dont know how to go already . "

"I'm still at aljunied ...I meet you at tanah merah mrt."

"Whats wrong with you today ar... don't ride so fast else later no strenght to ride the trail. "

"Okok.. i'll go slowly."

Travelling on foreign land up on Upp changi east road . We reached tampiness central a few minutes later and were supposed to look up for ave 12.. which was not even available on the locality map until....

" Uncle , you know where is ave 12 ?"

" Turn there , after the fly over , turn right ,go straight . you'll see ave 12."

"thanks uncle."

Finally reached Tampiness trail. Disgusted by how the trail is designed. Its just some small hills... Cleared away using shovels and had these little irritating meanders at the side of some of the corners, which are not even sharp. Right , so we went for one round..

After one lap.I hear ruben complains about the trail.

" Wah lau , i think this trail cannot make it la deh , trust me , dont' waste your money on the race fees for this one..."

"Hmm , i don't know , u think leonard will sponsor me for this one? Ay, i think he will be quite pissed to find out that we're getting another sponsor instead of them sia.. "

"Don't bother to ask la... stupid trail , stupid mud ..."

Well, my tires are indeed caked with mud , like some of confectionary.

" ok ar , we go geylang area first , hopefully we fine the porridge and tao way"

" I don't see anything that resemble tao hway or frog bro. Lets just settle for the next coffee shop we see.."

"Ok fine , how about that market place across the street."

And..... We saw the frog porridge and bean curd shop just as we cycle 100 m down the street . &%*$!^#@!%

Then its me and wifey alone again .

" eh , pu bo kia...so long no come down already ... then finally come down also nvr bring anything for me ... wah lau.."

"Fine , i'll bring my gay friends over for you next ok.."

" eh , must make sure they are fit ar.. i don't like those skinny ones.."

" go away ~ wheres wilson?"

" Wilson ah. I don't know leh, he suddenly dissappeared...( now leonard gets touchy every time i asked for wilson [tef's boss ] but thats for another post.)"

" Aiya you got customer already, nvm i next time then come down i need to go , sky is looking bad."

Back home . 1 and a halve hour to tampiness .. 15 mins breaks .... pain after waking up the next day ... timeless...
