Your friendly neighbour hood samatarian.
So many people....Ay,where would be the perfect spot he thought to himself whilst skimming through the stupendous human traffic , mostly commuters. Then there is this lamp post , with a fair area of flat ground for him to lay his "equipments". Perfect.
Then he tooked out a card board , pre prepared the night before for the stunt he is gonna pull off .It states , " amateur vocalist doing his bit for charity , donate on your own account , trust me , i'll put those money into the donation box later". A dumb effort of creating persuasion , how ever , seemingly captivating . He tooked out his purple guitar together with his lucky cap. That very cap that gives him a sudden boost of self charisma, self given. He runs his fingers on the sleek body of the guitar clearing away what seemed to be cotton fibre from the cheap gig bag. He then opens up his gig bag and have it sprawled on the floor, not literally , just to make it a container to put the money. Then he strums , listening to the vibrations of the guitar stings , ensuring that every one of them fine tune. Reassured he prayed with his lucky charm and begins the intro for his first song of the day.
On lookers paused , momentarily and change from fast foot works to a slow saunter across him , with a thousand of thoughts. A trickle of sweat ran down his fore head , equating from the enormous mortification. He closed his eyes as he starts singing... The moment he open his eyes again , there lay some notes and coins in his gig bag . Sastification.. He began to do his mojo with more courage and anticipation.
Song he sang were limited from , collide to you and me to your beautiful to all thats i've got to scars to pieces to Qing fei de yi to Qing tian and then to the song he re wrote recently .
At one instance it started raining and it was helter skelter for him. Packing his gig bag and card board was enough to get him drenched inside out ... Then he sat and counted ... $22.30 ... It may seemed to be just some 4 hours work shift for any other job but that 22.30 meant alot to him . The rain wasn't giving any mercy thus he decided to call it a day.
He found his way to the nearest 7-11 outlet , and made his way to the counter where the donation box will always be at . He tooked out 3 ten dollar notes and slot it in.The cashier looked at him . " anything i can get for you sir? " she questioned.
" keep the change " he winked back
